February 22, 2025: Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN) and the host Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), observed St. Thomas Academy's basketball team knock off Simley by a score of 56-48.
The Cadets (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 19-5 record. In their last challenge, Hastings prevailed over South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN), 81-73, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Simley will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record.
