Texas High School Softball - Hubbard bounces Taft
February 23, 2023: Hubbard, TX 76648 Hubbard Jaguars (Hubbard, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Port Aransas for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Hubbard will battle a Marlins squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Marlins record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Taft falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Woodsboro lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Italy (Italy, TX)
