Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Merkel Badgers (Merkel, TX), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cleburne for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. Snyder will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Godley (Godley, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-1.
