In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Northside Eagles baseball team scored a nice 19-1 victory over the Howard Huskies .

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Red Devils enter the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Hawkinsville was overwhelmed by Treutlen (Soperton, GA), 6-5, in a league match.

The Huskies now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westside for a AAA Region 4 match on Wednesday, February 25. Howard will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 16-4 non-league win over Laney (Augusta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-3.
