Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK), 56-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Redington upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Homer (Homer, AK) to play the Mariners in a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. The Mariners come into the bout with a record of 11-8.

Next up, the Wolves play the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a 3A Eastern bout, on Friday, February 25. Sitka will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 14-0 record after their 65-46 non-league win over Valdez (Valdez, AK).
