The Poth Pirates crushed the visiting Natalia Mustangs baseball team by a count of 10-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crystal City for a non-league game on Saturday, February 25. Poth will clash with a Javelinas team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX). The Javelinas record now stands at 1-1.

The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Sabinal (Sabinal, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Sabinal was overwhelmed by Cotulla (Cotulla, TX), 5-3, in a non-league game.
