The Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Glenburn Panther to 23 in the Lakers league triumph on Friday.
The Lakers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood for a B Region 6 District 12 contest on Saturday, February 25. Des Lacs-Burlington will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 57-24 league win over South Prairie (Minot, ND). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-8.
The Panther (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against South Prairie (Minot, ND). The Royals enter the B Region 6 District 12 contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, South Prairie was routed by Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND), 57-24, in a league contest.
