Michigan High School Basketball - Iron Mountain overwhelms Houghton
February 24, 2023: Houghton, MI 49931 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) and the host Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI), saw Iron Mountain's basketball squad wallop Houghton by a tally of 92-48.
With the victory, Iron Mountain improves its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Gladstone (Gladstone, MI) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 27. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Gladstone lost 56-43 in their recent league challenge against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI)
Next up, the Gremlins play the Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 27. Houghton will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record.
