Minnesota High School Basketball - Rockford fells Litchfield
February 24, 2023: Rockford, MN 55373 Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN), 60-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rockford upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Rockets host Royalton (Royalton, MN) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 10-12.
Next up, the Dragons play the New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN) in a AA Section 3 bout, on Saturday, February 25. Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN).
