California High School Volleyball - Helix over Kearny

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) and the host Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA), saw Helix's volleyball squad beat Kearny by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Helix upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Highlanders travel to High Tech SD (San Diego, CA) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 1-0. High Tech SD won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty Charter (Lemon Grove, CA)

The Komets now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon Crest Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. Kearny will play a Ravens squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 5-1.
