The Cherokee Warriors got by the host Carrollton Trojans lacrosse team by a score of 9-8 in Friday's non-league match.

With the win, Cherokee upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to West Florida (Pensacola, FL) to play the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, March 3. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 2-2.

With the defeat, Carrollton drops to 2-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Indians in a 7A Area 3 match on Tuesday, February 28. The Indians go into the match with a record of 0-4. McEachern lost 16-0 in their recent league match against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA)
