February 24, 2023: Blackshear, GA 31516 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) and the visiting Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA), saw Pierce County's soccer squad triumph over Vidalia by a margin of 5-0.
The Bears now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor Forest for a 2A Area 3 test on Tuesday, February 28. Pierce County will meet a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Knights record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Vidalia drops to 2-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Appling County (Baxley, GA) to meet the Pirates in a 2A Area 3 test on Tuesday, February 28. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-6. Appling County lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA)
