Texas High School Softball - Jay bounces Lanier
February 24, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78207 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) and the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Jay's softball squad prevail over Lanier by a count of 12-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to John F. Kennedy for a non-league match on Saturday, February 25. Jay will face a Rockets squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Harlandale (San Antonio, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Lanier moves to 0-5 on the season. The Voks host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to face the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 27 match on Tuesday, February 28. The Mules go into the match with a record of 8-6. Alamo Heights won 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Southside (San Antonio, TX)
