Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shady Side Academy tops Beaver Falls
February 24, 2024: Beaver Falls, PA 15010 Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA), 41-26 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 1. Shady Side Academy will attempt to move on its 23-2 season record. The Antelopes enter the game with a 22-1 record after their 72-51 non-league win over Neshannock (New Castle, PA).
With the defeat, Beaver Falls moves to 14-6 on the year. The Tigers host Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to face the Lancers in a WPIAL 3A 1 game on Tuesday, February 27. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 17-8. Neshannock lost 72-51 in their recent non-league game against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA)
