Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK), 53-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seward upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Seahawks host Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK) to play the Grizzlies in a 3A Peninsula bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Grace Christian won 67-41 in their recent league bout against Homer (Homer, AK)

Next up, the Huskies play the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a 3A Eastern bout, on Tuesday, February 27. Redington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 72-50 non-league loss to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK).
