Texas High School Softball - Jay bounces Lanier
February 24, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78227 Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antonian Prep for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. Jay will face a Apaches squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Lanier falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Voks travel to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to face the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Mules enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Alamo Heights 1-1 in their recent non-league challenge against McAllen (McAllen, TX)
