The Orofino Maniacs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Priest River Spartans to 51 in the Maniacs league triumph on Monday.

The Maniacs now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Kellogg for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26. Orofino will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 53-43 non-league win over St. Maries (St. Maries, ID). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Priest River falls to 14-5 on the campaign.
