With the victory, Plainview advances its record to 24-8 on the year. The Hornets travel to Gibsland-Coleman (Gibsland, LA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 17-10. Gibsland-Coleman won 60-42 in their recent non-league battle against Starks (Starks, LA)
