Alabama High School Softball - Mae Jemison drops to Columbia
February 24, 2025: Huntsville, AL 35810 Columbia Eagles (Huntsville, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL), 11-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Columbia improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL) to play the Trojans in a 6A Area 16 game on Tuesday, February 25. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 3-3. Hazel Green won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against New Hope (New Hope, AL)
The Jaguars now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Buckhorn for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. Mae Jemison will play a Bucks squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Ardmore (Ardmore, AL). The Bucks record now stands at 3-3.
