In Tuesday's non-league bout, the South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL) baseball team smashed the visiting Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL), by a tally of 8-0.

The Raiders (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Eustis (Eustis, FL). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Eustis prevailed over Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL), 9-1, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 26.
