Minnesota High School Basketball - Apple Valley tipped by Rosemount
February 24, 2026: Apple Valley, MN 55124 The Rosemount Irish edged the host Apple Valley Eagles basketball team by a tally of 78-76 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Irish now possess a 16-8 record. They play next when they host Eagan for a AAAA Section 3 bout on Friday, February 27. Rosemount will play a Wildcats team coming off a 73-66 non-league win over Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-6.
With the loss, Apple Valley falls to 15-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Como Park (St. Paul, MN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-18. Como Park lost 87-61 in their recent league test against Highland Park (St. Paul, MN)
