The Valley View Tigers softball squad (Pharr, TX), was routed 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX)

With the victory, Roma advances its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX) to clash with the Huskies in a 5A Region IV District 30 bout on Friday, February 27. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Juarez-Lincoln lost 22-6 in their recent league bout against Cigarroa (Laredo, TX)
