Mountain View Cougars (Bend, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR), 64-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season.

Next up, the Royal Scots play the Summit Storm (Bend, OR) in a 6A Mountain Valley bout, on Friday, February 25. McKay will attempt to upgrade on its 0-20 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 24-0 record after their 82-44 non-league win over McKay (Salem, OR).
