The New Hope Trojans got by the visiting Caledonia Cavaliers softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Cavaliers go into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Caledonia nudged Lamar County (Vernon, AL), 22-9, in a non-league battle.
