New Mexico High School Basketball - Pecos thwarts Texico
February 25, 2023: Pecos, NM 87552 The Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM), 75-59 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers (24-3) will now prepare for their test against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 15-14 record. In their last test, McCurdy went down by Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM), 90-82, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 15-12 record. They play next when they travel to Dulce for a non-league test on Saturday, March 4. Texico will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 16-12.
