The Weed Cougars topped the visiting Redding Christian Lions basketball team by a final score of 43-33 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Mendocino Cardinals (Mendocino, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 1. Weed will attempt to move on its 20-11 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 21-4 record after their 82-45 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA).
