California High School Basketball - Fall River fells Weed

Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Weed Cougars (Weed, CA), 35-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Fall River upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Etna (Etna, CA) to clash with the Lions in a Shasta Cascade bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) in a Shasta Cascade bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Weed will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 47-27 league win over Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA).
