February 25, 2025: Sterlington, LA 71280 The Sterlington Panthers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Parkway Panthers to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Panthers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Amant for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Sterlington will clash with a Gators team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Gators record now stands at 6-5.
With the defeat, Parkway drops to 2-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Rayne (Rayne, LA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 6-2. Rayne won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Lacassine (Lacassine, LA)
