The Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) baseball trounced the host Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA), 13-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Bearcats now own a 24-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Monroe for a 5A District 2 challenge on Thursday, April 10. Ruston will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 21-6.

With the defeat, Parkway drops to 10-17 on the year. The Panthers travel to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA) to clash with the Chiefs in a 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 8.
