The Canton Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Laurel Golden Tornadoes to 40 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 28-5 record. They play next when they travel to Laurel for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. Canton will confront a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 54-31 non-league win over North Pike (Summit, MS). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 31-1.
