Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Shelby moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Golden Lions travel to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to meet the Mountaineers in a non-league test on Wednesday, February 26. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
