February 25, 2025: Ellijay, GA 30540 The Fannin County Rebels baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Gilmer Bobcats to 2 in the Rebels non-league win on Tuesday.
The Rebels now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Union County for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 26.
With the defeat, Gilmer drops to 2-4 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to play the Rebels in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Rebels go into the test with a record of 2-3. Fannin County won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Union County (Blairsville, GA)
