Georgia High School Baseball - Jefferson defeats Oconee County
February 25, 2025: Watkinsville, GA 30677 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the host Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), saw Jefferson's baseball team gain a win over Oconee County by a tally of 16-8.
The Dragons (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Apalachee prevailed over Madison County (Danielsville, GA), 17-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors face the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 10. Oconee County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
