The Laney Buccaneers triumphed over the visiting Dixon Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Buccaneers meet the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 27. Laney will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
