The Porter Ridge Pirates lacrosse squad (Indian Trail, NC), was overwhelmed 13-1 in Friday's league challenge with the host Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC)

Coming up next, the Patriots meet the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a Conference 14 challenge, on Tuesday, March 2. Independence will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 19-8 non-league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC).
