Alabama High School Softball - Straughn bounces New Brockton
February 26, 2022: Andalusia, AL 36421 Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McKenzie for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 28.
With the loss, New Brockton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Gamecocks travel to Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Northside Methodist Academy won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Carroll (Ozark, AL)
