Alabama High School Softball - Straughn bounces Highland Home
March 17, 2022: Highland Home, AL 36041 The Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) softball routed the host Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), 8-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Elba (Elba, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Elba was routed by Goshen (Goshen, AL), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
The Flying Squadron now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Enterprise for a non-league bout on Monday, March 21. Highland Home will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Jefferson Davis (Montgomery, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-0.
