Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Curry for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26.

With the loss, Sipsey Valley falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Demopolis (Demopolis, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Area 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Demopolis lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL)
