Ohio High School Basketball - New Hope Christian Academy knocked off by Minford
February 26, 2024: Minford, OH 45653 The Minford Falcons basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen to 63 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Falcons now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairland for a non-league contest on Sunday, March 3. Minford will battle a Dragons team coming off a 76-75 non-league loss to Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 16-8.
The Statesmen (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Community (North Eaton, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Christian Community ran past Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH), 50-37, in a non-league contest.
