Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) and the host Aptos Mariners (Aptos, CA), witnessed Monterey's lacrosse squad overcome Aptos by a count of 19-12.

The Dores (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Palma (Salinas, CA). The Chieftains enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Palma was overwhelmed by Christopher (Gilroy, CA), 13-5, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mariners meet the Soquel Knights (Soquel, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 1. Aptos will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
