The Klein Cain Hurricanes triumphed over the host Cypress Lakes Spartans softball team by a margin of 16-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Hurricanes now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Creek for a non-league battle on Friday, February 27. Klein Cain will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Shore (Houston, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Cypress Lakes drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX) to meet the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 26.
