The Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Carrington Cardinals to 49 in the Rangers league triumph on Monday.
The Rangers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaMoure/Litchville-Marion for a B Region 3 District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 28. Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier will battle a Loboes team coming off a 59-51 league win over Ellendale (Ellendale, ND). The Loboes record now stands at 11-9.
The Cardinals (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] (Rogers, ND). The Bison enter the B Region 3 District 5 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] was defeated by Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND), 69-62, in a non-league contest.
