South Carolina High School Soccer - South Pointe knocks off Lewisville
February 27, 2023: Richburg, SC 29729 South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Stallions confront the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, March 10. South Pointe will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
The Lions now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eau Claire for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Lewisville will confront a Shamrocks team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC). The Shamrocks record now stands at 1-0.
