Kemper Academy Rams (DeKalb, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS), 9-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Kemper Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Kemper County (DeKalb, MS) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. Kemper County won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against West Lowndes (Columbus, MS)

With the defeat, Columbus falls to 1-6 on the season. The Falcons host Caledonia (Caledonia, MS) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 4-1.
