Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Midland Rebels (Midland, LA), 84-74 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Negreet upgrades its record to 30-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Hicks (Leesville, LA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 29. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 23-15. Hicks won 53-49 in their recent non-league bout against Doyline (Doyline, LA)
