Georgia High School Baseball - Crawford County edges Academy for Classical Education
February 27, 2025: Macon, GA 31210 In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Crawford County Eagles baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Covenant Academy (Macon, GA). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Covenant Academy nudged Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Gryphons play the Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 2 game, on Friday, February 28. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Jenkins County (Millen, GA).
