With the triumph, L.W. Higgins moves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league contest on Friday, February 28. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 3-3.
With the defeat, Grant drops to 1-6 on the year. The Cougars host Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Caldwell Parish won 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA)
