The Parkland Mustangs baseball squad (Winston-Salem, NC), was overwhelmed 24-14 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC)

With the triumph, North Forsyth moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to West Stokes (King, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Mid-State 2A contest on Tuesday, March 4. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-0. West Stokes won 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)

The Mustangs now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walkertown for a non-league contest on Monday, March 3. Parkland will confront a Wolfpack squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 2-1.
