Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL), 5-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Oak Mountain improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league game on Monday, March 3. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 0-0.

The Warriors now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Helena for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 11.
