The Royal Falcons softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Aldine Mustangs to 5 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cypress Springs for a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. Royal will confront a Panthers team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Aldine moves to 1-9 on the season. The Mustangs host Alief Elsik (Houston, TX) to confront the Rams in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 0-2.
